Message du Canada / Message from Canada

Nous voici à Nakiska au Canada où nous sommes arrivés hier soir à 17h soit 1h du matin en France...

Le voyage s'est bien passé, avec plein de bons films dans l'avion, pas de retard, pas de nuit dans l'aéroport et pas voisin qui ronfle non-plus, DU BONHEUR!!

Ce matin, après une nuit d'à peu près 10h non-stop (du à la journée d'hier qui fut LEGEREMENT longue...) et un pancake au sirop d'érable (on s'acclimate au pays comme on peut...), nous sommes montées au ski pour un peu de ski libre. Le moins qu'on puisse dire c'est que par -19°C, le libre, sa réveille!!

Il y a assez peu de neige en dehors des pistes mais les pistes où nous nous entrainons sont top donc c'est parfait!

Demain nous attaquons le superG en tracé... Ils annoncent beau et plus froid, à voir...

Nous restons à Nakiska jusqu'au 29 normalement et après, on file à Lake Louise,au château...!

Here we are at nakiska in Canada where we arrived yesterday at 5 p.m. or 1 a.m in France...
The journey was fine with a lot of good movies, no plane late, no night spent in the airport, and no neighbourg snoring either, just SO FINE!!

This morning, after a 10hours night (after yestrday travel day wich was a little LONG...) and a maple syrup pancake ( we try to acclimatize to the country as we can..), we went to do some free ski. The least I can say is that by -2,2 °F, free ski is waking up!!

There is not a lot of snow outside the slopes but on our training slopes it's okay so it's perfect!

Tomorrow we'll start superG trainig... The weather is supposed to be sunny and colder, we'll see...!

We're supposed to stay at Nakiska until the 29th and then to go to Lake Louise, in the castle...!

Nous voici enfin partis pour le canada! Décollage en direction de calgary puis voiture jusqu'à Nakiska!

Bon et bien cette fois, je pense que c'était la dernière fois que je montais à l'Aiguille Percée!
Il y avait de la neige partout mais qu'est-ce qu'il faisait chaud!!
Demain,intervalles à Albertville...Ca risque de ne pas être le même cadre...!

Et après -> TWILIGHT!!

So, this time, I think that was the last time I went to the Pierced Needle!!

There was snow everywhere but it was SO warm!!

Tomorrow, intervals at Albertville... It may not be the same landscape...!

Départ dans une semaine / Departure in one week

Après une semaine de repos à la maison ce sera le départ pour le Canada!!
Nous nous entrainerons une semaine à Nakiska et après, direction le château Fairmont à Lake Louise!!
Il parait qu'il fait -43°C en ce moment à Nakiska... J'espère que ça aura le temps de chauffer d'ici à ce qu'on arrive!!

After a resting week at home it will be the departure for Canada!!
We will train during one week in Nakiska and then, we'll go to the Fairmont castle in Lake Louise!!
I've been told that it's - 45 nowadays in Nakiska... I hope it will warm a little before we arrive!!

Je veux skier!!!! / I want to ski!!!!

Pour la 3° fois en 4 jours de stage à Stubai, nous sommes redescendues à l'hôtel et devons attendre 10h pour plus d'informations... Apparemment il y aurait du vent là haut... (Sur la photo, le glacier est la montagne qu'on distingue derrière les nuages)

For the 3rd time in 4days in Stubai, we got back to the hotel and have to wait until 10 a.m for further information... Apparently there's some wind up there... (On the picture, the glacier is the montain we can see behind the clouds)

Finallement, aujourd'hui ça ne sera pas ski mais marche en montagne... On s'adapte!

Actually, today it's not gonna be skiing but hiking... We just have to adapt!

Nouveau stage de ski / New ski camp

Après deux semaines de prep physique sur Albertville, nous voila de retour sur les routes, destination l'Autriche!
Nous partons vendredi matin pour 6 jours à Stubaistal où nous devrions réussir à faire de la vitesse. Ce sera le dernier stage pour pofiner les derniers réglages...
Ensuite, quelques jours de repos et ce sera le GRAND départ pour le CANADA!!


After two weeks of physical trainings in Albertville, we're back on the roads, destination Austria!
We leave on Friday morning for 6 days in Stubaistal where we should manage to do some speed. It will be our last camp to refine the last settings...
Then, a few resting days and then it will be the BIG departure to CANADA!!
