Descente aux flambeaux / torchlight

Ce soir j'ai fait ma première descente aux flambeaux avec l'ESF (Ecole du Ski Français)!!!
C'était bien drôle, même s'il faisait un peu froid quand même...!!
Maintenant, à table et bon cadeaux de Noël!!!!

Tonight I did my first torchlight with the ESF ( French ski School)!!!
It was really fun, even if it was I little cold regardless...!!
Now, dinner time and have great Christmas presents!!

Changement de programme / Change of plans

Après 3 jours passés à reporter notre départ pour Zinal, les 2 superG sont finalement annulés!
Du coup, nous repartons normalement mercredi matin pour aller nous entrainer à Courchevel en géant et peut-être en slalom. Enfin, si ça ne change pas d'ici là...!

After 3 days spent delaying our departure to Zinal, the 2 superG are actually cancelled!
So, our next departure should be on wednesday morning to to go to train at Courchevel in giant and maybe slalom. Well, if it doesn't change until there...!

A défaut de faire du ski, je me perfectionne en bowling...! / While I can't ski, I improve my bowling...!

Sur la route de nouveau! / On the road again!

Après une semaine à la maison à faire de la prep physique ou du ski libre, nous repartons demain en course à Zinal. Nous aurons deux superG là bas et ensuite, direction Courchevel pour deux jours d'entrainement.Voila!!

After a week home doing physical training or free skiing, we'll go to Zinal to do fis races. We'll do two superG there and then, we'll go to train to Courchevel for two days.

Retour en France / Back in France

Nous voilà de retour à la maison après presque 3 semaines en Amérique du Nord.
C'était vraiment un voyage génial!!
Après être partis de Denver, nous avons fait étape à Washington pour ensuite atterrir à Genève.
Le voyage s'est bien passé et je ne ressens pas encore les effets du décallage horaire donc tout va bien!
Aujourd'hui je suis allée skier à Tignes avec le club et c'était TROP BON!!

Here we are back home after almost 3 weeks in North America
It was really a great journey!!
After leaving from Denver, we made a step at Washington and landed at Geneva.
The journey was okay and I still don't feel the jetlag effects so everything' fine!
Today I went to ski inTignes with th Club and it was SO GREAT!!

Et voila, demain c'est déjà la fin des courses au Canada!!La saion a très treès bien attaqué pour moi, ces deux tops 30 en descente m'ont vraiment fait du bien  et je n'ai qu'une envie maintenant, recommencer et faire mieux!!!
Demain, dès que le super G sera fini, nous partirons en direction de Calgary où nous passerons la nuit avant de redécoller lundi pour... BEAVER CREEK!! Nous y ferons un superG mercredi et ensuite,  retour à la maison après deux semaines et demies passées en Amérique du Nord.
Je suis vraimant contente d'aller à Beaver Creek, c'est la 1° fois que j'irai aux Etats-Unis!!!

02/12/2011, Lake Louise, Downhill

There we are, tomorrow is going to be last race in Canada!!
The season has started really really great for me, those two tops 30 in downhill made me feel really better and now I just want one thing, go again and do better!!
Tomorrow, as soon as the superG ends, we will go to Calgary where we'll spend the night, before flying on Monday to ... BEAVER CREEK!! We'll do one superG there on Wednsday and then, we'll fly home after two weeks and a half in North America.
I'm so happy to go to Beaver Creek, it's going to be the 1st time I'll go to the USA!!

1° course!! / 1st race!!!

Sa y est!! Demain c'est la première course de la saison pour nous, la saison attaque enfin!!
J'aurai donc le dossard 55, le départ est à 12h30, en comptant les intervalles de départ et les 3 tv breaks, je devrait partir aux alentours de 14h... soit 22h en France...!
Vous pourrez trouver les résultats en cliquant ici et suivre la course en cliquant sur le "live" sur la même page. Pour ce qui est des images, je ne pense pas que vous pourrez me voir mais vous pouvez toujours essayer en allant sur http://www.sportlemon.tv/ et en cherchant "Lake Louise".
