Un petit message de Bansko en Bulgarie où nous sommes arrivées hier après-midi après avoir voyagé une bonne partie de la journée : nous avons d'abord pris bus de la station jusqu'à l'aéroport de Sochi, ensuite l'avion de Sochi jusqu'à Sofia (en Bulagrie), puis nous avons repris le bus jusqu'à Bansko.
Pour en revenir aux courses de ce week end, je dirais que je suis assez déçue de ce que j'ai fait, même si tout ne jouait pas en ma faveur...
Samedi pour la descente, je partais dossard 50 et un brouillard bien épais est arrivé en bas du mur au dossard 49, tellement épais que la course a été arrêtée au dossard 52 pour finallement ne jamais reprendre...
Je n'ai donc pas eu de chance avec les conditions météo, mais je n'avais pas bien skié non-plus la partie haute où là, il n'y avait pas de brouillard, et je n'ai pas non-plus été très bonne dans la partie plate après le brouillard... Mais malgré tout, j'ai pu pratiquer cette piste une fois de plus, et je pense que cela pourra m'être utile pour plus tard. Comme on dit, toutes les expériences sont bonnes à prendre!!
Puis le lendemain, le super combiné a été annulé...
Sochi n'a donc pas été une bonne course pour moi, c'est pourquoi je compte vite passer à autre chose sur cette nouvelle piste de Bansko!

A little message from Bansko in Bulgaria where we arrived yesterday afternoon after travelling a good part of the day : first, we took a bus from the resort to Sochi's airport, then we took the plane to Sofia (in Bulgaria), and finally, we took a bus again to Bansko.
To get back on the races of this week end, I'd say I'm rather disappointed of what I did, even if the weather has not worked to my advantage...
Saturday, for the downhill I had the bib 50 and a thick fog came at the end of the stip for the bib 49, such thick that the race was interrupted at the bib 52, and eventually never went on again...
I wasn't lucky with the fog but I didn't ski well the first part which wasn't foggy, and neither did I on the flat part without the fog... Nevertheless, I regardless did the slope one more time and I think it can be usefull for the future. As we say, every experience is good to take!!
Then, the next day, the super combined has been cancelled...
Sochi hasn't been a good race for me, that's why I can't wait to move on, on that new slope in Bansko!!
